a day full of family, friends and the sweetest love. the shupings got married at their home church and had the reception at the salisbury train station. it was a night full of laughter, dancing, and oh so much fun.
"We met on our first day of college and became good friends over the next few years. We started dating our Junior year of undergrad and stayed together through my move to Florida for veterinary school. J took an extra year of undergrad and then commissioned into the Air Force and was stationed in Mississippi for flight school. The week after J’s graduation from flight training and gaining his wings, he flew down to Orlando to meet me. I was in Orlando working with the Sea World veterinary team and I took the weekend off to hang out with him. He planned an entire day of activities. We started the morning taking a sunrise hot air balloon ride (where I thought he might propose). Then we spent the afternoon in downtown Orlando. We finished with dinner at Normans. I was suspiciously checking J’s pockets all day and had not yet seen a ring box. After dinner, J wanted to walk around the grounds of the Ritz Carlton (where Normans is located). It was raining, so we waited, and I wanted to go back to where I was staying but he insisted we wait a while longer. When it stopped raining, he took me out on a small pier and got down on one knee. I said yes!"
congrats, you two. we are so excited for y'all.
